We visited the British Drift Championships at Llandow Circuit yesterday. I was surprised to see that one of the top drivers is Shane Lynch of Boyzone fame. The photo shows Shane drifting around the first bend. Nice car! It’s a Skyline R33 GTS-T. The photo was taken by Kee. Update – 2nd July 2008: after a minor debate on www.skylineowners.com – yes, it really is Shane Lynch from Boyzone. The embarrassing thing for me was that I ended up chatting to the people unloading the car the day before, and there’s this guy there, standing quietly to one side. I realised later that it was Shane – he’s so famous, that I didn’t even know who he was

I went to silverstone yesterday (07-09-08) and was at the stand watching the drift cars perform on the track. I looked over and saw Shane Lynch. I thought, no that cant be him shorley! I then looked and saw that it was him. I went over to him and got his autograph and photo done. I was pleased as punch! Haha xx Thank you shane x
