Some friends of mine John and Siân Evans have just opened a new Bed and Breakfast in the Vale of Glamorgan in their old farmhouse near Sigginstone.
They’ve put a huge amount of effort into making sure that guests will really enjoy their stay in South Wales. Their attention to detail will ensure that visitors will enjoy some traditional Welsh hospitality in their welcoming home.
The B&B is ideally suited for the whole of the Vale of Glamorgan and the Glamorgan coast and yet is only 30 minutes from Cardiff, 45 minutes from Swansea and the Brecon Beacons are only an hour or so away.
I’d recommend a car if you do intend to stay as the public bus service is infrequent.
There’s the well known Victoria Inn just a short walk down the road that does great beer and meals.
Sigginstone is known for the Llandow Air Disaster
You can get more information from their website at http://www.wix.com/moorshead/bed-and-breakfast or you can phone them to book on 01446 773261
Thoroughly recommended.

P.S. They also have a few holiday cottages if you’d like to stay longer!
P.P.S. You’ll find “Sigginstone” spelt “Sigingstone” on the maps and road signs, but Sigginstone is the old spelling used by the older locals
