Oscars of Cardiff
Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to the opening night of the new Oscars of Cardiff restaurant in Romilly Crescent in Pontcanna in Cardiff. They’ve taken over the premises previously occupied by Le Gallois.
I’ve been to the original Oscars in Cowbridge several times and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food there is very good, prices reasonable and the staff amazingly helpful.
The menu tasters that I tried last week were great. We’re looking forward to going back for a quiet meal later in the month. If the new Oscars is like it’s sister restaurant then it’ll be a great place to stop off at after work, or after a hectic day’s shopping in St Davids in Cardiff!
